Meet Our Team
PDX Tax is a mother and son team in Portland serving local businesses and clients beyond the area with clean books and confident tax filing.
Andrew Condron
Drew started his tax career in 2016 as a Licensed Tax Preparer. He received his Undergraduate Degree in Accounting from Portland State University. Using that knowledge and experience, Drew is passionate about building relationships with members of the community and small business owners to help them navigate the complexities of federal, state and local tax compliance.
Catherine Condron
Catherine has prepared taxes in the Portland Metro area for over 30 years. She has an MBA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, which has allowed her to teach accounting for universities and tax organizations. Catherine is a Licensed Tax Consultant and an Enrolled Agent allowing her to represent her clients before the IRS. Her knowledge has been key in growing PDX Bookkeeping and Tax over the years to better serve the local community.

Our Story
PDX’s story begins in the Air Force, where Catherine saw peers and young families stressed by taxes they did not understand. She volunteered with the VITA program, taught IRS sessions, and sat beside people until the numbers made sense, because a generous spirit felt like the right way to serve. That same intention shaped the firm she opened in 2000 and the bookkeeping practice she added in 2007. She grew it one relationship at a time, explaining things clearly, charging fairly, and staying available. Many of those earliest clients are still with us today.
Drew joined in 2015 after leaving a corporate path that did not fit. He discovered what Catherine had known for years: the real reward is helping someone through a hard thing with patience and care. He finished his accounting degree, spent time at a large regional firm, and brought back modern systems that make a small practice faster and more reliable. When the world went remote, he helped shape a fully digital experience that gives clients calm, clarity, and fewer errors.
That original spirit still guides everything. We choose people over polish, dignity over jargon, and relationships over transactions. The team offers thoughtful help to those who need it most, keeps fees transparent, and never makes anyone feel small for asking questions. With a secure portal and quick replies, clients feel known, supported, and in control. The result is not just accurate returns and clean books. It is trust built over years and the steady confidence that someone who cares is in your corner.
